PLEX also works with all devices that are supported by DVB API on Linux. I use a EyeTV Hybrid on an Ubuntu Linux machine. works pretty straight out if the box, you only need to add a small firmware driver to the linux default install for the eyetv device, see https://www.linuxtv.org/wiki/index.php/Elgato_EyeTV_hybrid

Does anyone knows about the internal interface to the hardware i.e. how to communicate with the hybrid USB stick? @Geniatech.Zhang would it be possible to get some documentation? So we may be able to build something on our own if eyetv4 software is abandoned (as ist somehow looke like) and we don't want to throw away working hardware.......
