  1. I eventually resolved my problem with the help of the EyeTV Reporter app. I restored an old set of preferences which brought back the correct behaviour with the Netstream 4Sat device (allowing multiple channel simultaneous recording/viewing). Then I painstakingly remade my favourite channels, etc. I still don't understand why the behaviour changed when I simply upgraded to EyeTV 3.6.9 (7518).
  2. Yesterday I installed the new release candidate EyeTV 3.6.9 (7518) on my Mac Mini (on Mac OS 10.9.5) with my NetStream 4sat device and suddenly I can only get one channel of TV at a time. No multiple simultaneous recording or viewing one channel while recording another. When I try to change channels while recording it says something like 'EyeTV is recording xxx, please stop the recording'. It won't even allow me to vew two channels simultaneously in different windows using 'Open Next Live TV Window'. Previously I was running EyeTV 3.6.9 (7517) for a few months and it was working fine with my NetStream 4sat device, allowing two simultaneous recordings without any problems. Help please!
  3. After 9 days I've had no reply to this from Geniatech. Neither here nor in response to a Support ticket.
  4. When Gracenote stopped working for a while I changed the EPG setting to DVB on my favourite channels. Eventually I got a new Gracenote subscription even though I don't think the old one had expired. But that's not my gripe, it's this: I reset the EPG to Gracenote for all my favourite channels but now each time I restart EyeTV the EPG is set to DVB and I have to manually set them to Gracenote every time!
  5. Problem solved! The answer was simple: the EyeTV software has to be (re)registered with the code that came with the Netstream device. I was using it with an older code that has worked for several other devices. I think the Device Preferences tab ought to make this clear. It shouldn't just say 'No Network/ IPTV EyeTV Netstream 4Sat devices connected' when there is one connected! It should say something more useful like - EyeTV must be registered for use with this device.
  6. I recently bought and installed a NetStream 4Sat device. I am able to configure and use it with my Android phone. But the Preferences>Devices in EyeTV 3.6.9 on my Macintosh reports: 'No Network/ IPTV EyeTV Netstream 4Sat devices connected'. I know it is connected to the home network because when I go to the address http://192.168.1.220/ in a browser on my Mac the Netstream is present and reports Firmware version etc. I'll be grateful for any advice me how to make it get connected to EyeTV 3.6.9. Thank you. George
