Hi fissionbomb, thank for report, thats a value workout! Reset Procedure: we try to reproduce the reset issue - but not successful so far - as we used it during QC testing for sure a lot - it works fine. For (astra 23,5) - ok let us check - what here the status quo is, we did not have an issue here before, need to repro and correct if necessary. please stay tuned - come back, LG Mike

Hallo zusammen, wir sind kurz vor dem Release einer neuen Version von Eyetv 3, welches das Ton – Problem beim Wechsel auf Dolby 5.1 auf AAC mit Audio-Deskription löst bzw verbessert, auch und gerade bei "Das Erste HD". Es laufen derzeit noch weitere Tests / anderer Empfangsarten / Funktionen im Rahmen der QC, aber wir erwarten keine weiteren Probleme. ...die PRE-Release Eyetv 3 Version 3.6.9 (7518) könnt Ihr jetzt schon unter nachstehendem Link herunterladen / installieren. https://www.geniatech.eu/eyetv/download/eyetv-3-6-9-7518/ Eine Rückmeldung von eurer Seite wäre / ist sehr wünschenswert. Guten Morgen, wir arbeiten an diesem Thema zusammen mit dem WDR mit hoher Priorität, nicht alles liegt hier an uns. Andre P, hat das schon richtig benannt, die AAC/5.1 Probleme bei EyeTV oder auch mit anderer Hardware / Software Lösungen haben mit dem vom WDR eingesetzten Encoder, und treten beim Umschalten von 2.0-5.1 Umschaltung der DVB-T2 Ausstrahlung auf / die Programme der ARD nutzen nicht die Dolby-Kompression, wie das ZDF sondern den AAC-Codec für die Tonübertragung, was sich dank des eingesetzten Encoder doch außerhalb der verabschiedeten Spezifikation bewegt, und neu ist. stay tuned, wir bekommen auch das hin.

Vielen Dank - nicht alles und jeder Fehler muß / kann an eyetv (7517) liegen, das Dekoden von H.265 verlangt den Systemen schon einiges an Leistung ab, es braucht zwingend einen i5 / und genug Speicher und ein gepflegtes System, auch sollte klar sein das DVB-T2 HD H.265 ein völlig neues TV Netz ist und auch die Netzbetreiber weiter daran arbeiten. Bei dem "Das Erste HD" Audio Problem (ist ja nicht immer vorhanden), ist sicherlich Handlungsbedarf auf beiden Seiten, aktuell liegt es nicht an uns, es fehlen klare Encoder Definitionen seitens des Multiplex / Audio für das Programm, für den seltsamen Wechsel, je nach Inhalten, aber wir arbeiten dran.

danke für die Rückmeldung und das Recording - nicht alles liegt an uns, das neue DVB-T2 HD H.265 ist ein komplett neues TV-Netz, auch hier läuft noch einiges nicht „rund“, das muss sich erst richtig etablieren, DVB-T ist eben nicht DVB-T2 HD H.265, das sind mehr Daten/mehr Bilder pro Sekunde, je besser der Empfang je weniger Last der Mac. Wir müssen sicher weiter "finetunen".

Hi Daniel - for now - we have not add new additional third party support hardware as already integrated.

@Ton - I mean this serious, sure I understand - we can also use one of the collaboration platforms you propose, I will setup for next week, and I will post here. First of all we should agree on a level of respectful language here, second the eyetv Netstream TV App is for our netstream devices and it is part of our netstream platform strategy. I understand that it does not meet your expectation and wishes for accessing the eyetv 3 / mac platform, but again that was also not the purpose of this release. Following this you asked to port just a iOS APP "Eyetv" to tvOS, sorry - is not a 4 weeks job, we always here this, this is not possible from our experience, you need at least 4 weeks for QC / Pilot etc.., please be more realistic, and we will not buy Livezap. We do understand and listen to this before, and as told stay tuned we considering / working on such solution, but this may a different environment, and may be also accessible in a different way and will be not mixed with the netstream tvOS APP. On the other side, just sharing our thoughts and customers feedback, a lot of customers do not like to have always their Mac/iMac running, most due to cost reason, and stream from their Mac, only 2-3% using this EyeConnect - Function Eyetv APP on iOS for certain purpose, e.g. using this when travelling, more mobil approach, the question is how to improve this, does a tvOS eyetv APP help? we know there are many Users out there with eyetv 3, and the market trends goes to mobil and cloud access in volume? agree? would it not better to go in such direction, e.g. to mirror your tuners / recordings to the cloud? Lets keep on, we want to listen and discuss, I will come back with a open conference call bridge for next week, with 3 schedule options, for you to select and agree.
