  1. In my humble opinion there should've been a class action lawsuit over the failure to deliver (or reinstate) the EPG services that were bought and paid for. The only thing I don't know is how many Geniatech customers were burned. Considering their global reach it must be thousands. At least. I realize we have mostly all given up at this point... but that's exactly what they want us to do. It just irks me that they got away with it on a corporate level. A gigantic "eff-you" to people who sent them money... their clients. Elgato, we miss you.
  2. I too went through that long EPG failure, and now I'm kicking myself for not researching alternative guide options. The problem is, I'm in Canada, and I fear we have even fewer options here. Part of that might be because I use a Mac computer. I also wonder... does Geniatech even still sell hardware for the North American market? Or are we just hanging onto our old Elgato hardware and hoping for a little more use? And again, I'm speaking mostly from a Canadian perspective, and a Mac perspective, where the alternatives seem few. Sadly.
  3. It just occurred to me... does the Geniatech Support Staff even read these forums?
  4. Exact same problem here, EyeTV 3 (western Canada). My guide account hasn't expired, and downloading data runs forever without updating any program info. Then EyeTV becomes unresponsive requiring a force quit.
  5. We have to hope that EyeTV is updated to a 64bit app for use under Catalina and beyond. Mojave was the last MacOS to support 32bit apps like the current EyeTV app. You can check under System Report/Software/Applications to see how many 32bit apps you have that won't run under Catalina. I have a ton of them.
  6. With the TV Guide subscription renewal showing as "out of stock" here, I'm more than a little concerned. My subscription runs out next month.
  7. As per the thread title... I have an EyeTV HD, and I am using 3.6.9(7522) without problem. What else can I say? I realize it breaks compatibility with the HDHomerun, but that's a totally different product than my EyeTV HD device.
  8. 3.6.9(7522) restores functionality for the EyeTV HD. Thankfully.
