Could it be that you wanted to write more? Guess so. Well, what can I say? Elgato, then Geniatech and most probably also Apple with its continuously degrading software quality put all of us in a quite delicate situation. After the EyeTV 4 beta became more and more what it is I finally gave up using it and am now completely relying on an independently running Linux receiver solution (it would be nice, however, to be able to control/program it via EyeTV on macOS). The remaining Netstream 4sat device only serves our iOS clients in case there’s an urgent TV need there. Concerning my unwanted moderator job I fear to have to give it up soon as this forum mainly serves as a continuous spam feed and even deleting all the authors of those stupid content on a daily basis seems only to stimulate their activities.

I hopefully deleted all of it. I try to remove all the trash but have to repeat again that I'm not a moderator volunteer. I just subscribed early to the forum and have obtained this "status" by coincidence. As long as it does not disturb my usual activities too much, I will go on but clearly would prefer a higher involvement on the Geniatech side.

Unfortunately, it seems that Geniatech does not use any 12.9 inch iPad Pro for testing as the GUI of the Netstream app has some weird problems (pictures included) on this specific device. On every other iPad (iPad Pro 10.5 inch and iPad Air 2 have been tried) the GUI seems to be working as expected but it remains a mystery to me why no one ever repairs this quite horrible looking bug. My efforts via the EyeTV support had no positive outcome at all [Ticket#2017112116000291] as they only asked me to reinstall the software (much work for nothing). Then they told me they could not reproduce the error. When I asked them for screenshots and if they really did this on the 12.9 inch model they never replied. Well, fascinating. How should it even be possible that the app does only show its weird behavior on my iPad Pro 12.9 inch (newest 2017 revision)?

This is somewhat weird or funny. I see my name appearing in the list of moderators but am not one. That would also explain some mysterious messages I received about a necessity to act but not telling me why or how . So please do understand that I cannot give you any information I do not have. I’m not part of the Geniatech team and am only using (well, sometimes reviewing) their hardware/software since 2005. This misunderstanding can probably be explained with the fact that I found out about the forum very early by coincidence and registered when it had less than 10 members.
