camstork 0 Report post Posted October 6, 2016 Hello everybody, I'm using EyeTV 3.6.9 (7513) on an 3 iMac running ElCapitan 10.11.6 with a USB Geniatech EyeTV DTT Deluxe each. Everything works ok on all of them. I just installed an HD Homerun Connect HDHR4-2DT that is discovered and works nice using homerun bundled software. I've also upgraded it to the latest firmware 20160929beta2 The problem is that EyeTV doesn't detect the Homerun box. I've also analyzed TCP and UDP traffic and it seems that, when selecting the Homerun device, no discovery packets on UDP port 65001 are generated. This happens on all 3 iMacs. Also tried to downgrade EyeTV down to 3.6.8 (7410) having no success. Any clue ?
Ton 29 Report post Posted October 6, 2016 Maybe here (https://www.silicondust.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=62377) a solution? Did you follow up the Terminal setup instructions here (https://www.dropbox.com/s/913ap6exos7yq5b/Instellen.HDHR.rtf?dl=0).
camstork 0 Report post Posted October 6, 2016 I succeeded discovering the HD Homerun box by EyeTV, and is working nicely. I've just used the 'Assisted Setup' specifying HD Homerun as the device to search. I was erroneously trying to set the HD Homerun device directly from the 'EyeTV Preference Panel - Devices section' Thanks Ton for your suggestions.
