EyeTV 4 crashes on startup

Just purchased and installed EyeTV 4 (8527) on my MacBook Pro mid 2012 (macOS 10.14.6, 16 GB RAM), but the application crashes every time I try to launch it.

Deleted all EyeTV 3.xxx files, reset PRAM, cleared caches, but to no avail.

 

Anything else I could try?! Thanks for your help!
