dankan1972 1 Report post Posted April 5 EyeTV 4 (64 bit) not working after scanning I have just updated MacOS to Sequoia 15.4 and EyeTV is not working anymore. As soon as I tune in a TV channel the software is blocked and I have to force the exit: 1) The software correctly recognizes my device eyetv T2 hybrid (DVB-T/ T2/T2 HD). 2) If I do not perform the scanning and not attempt the tuning, the software still works. By the way, I allowed all the restrictions to EyeTV in Privacy and Security Settings as suggested by the Producer FAQ, but the issue is still there. Obviously without tuning, software and device are useless. I have experienced no problem before, having previous version of MacOS and my MAC is MacBook Air M1. Many thanks for the help you would give... Best Regards
RBucket 0 Report post Posted April 5 I have exactly the same problem. After the upgrade to 15.4 The video seems to no longer work. I can only kill the app when the video window is open. I hope that there will be soon an update ti fix this. Kind regards Thomas

Ernst 2 Report post Posted April 27 The Sentinel-fix worked for me as well (https://eyetvforum.com/index.php?/topic/316621-eyetv-4-with-macos-15-sequoia/). Thank you so much for the help AGB! Geniatech Support did not respond. Problem: Since I've updated my MacMini to macOS 15.4, EyeTV4 no longer works. As soon as LiveTV is started the app seems to crash / freeze and I can only "force quit". Using "EyeTV reporter", I've re-installed EyeTV and deleted all preferences, but it has not solved the problem. Specs: Mac mini M1, 2020 16 GB memory macOS Sequoia 15.4.1 EyeTV 4.0.0 (8532) EyeTV Hybrid Model EU 2008 Firmware 1.00 Solution: Search for "Sentinel Macupdate" ( https://sentinel.macupdate.com ) Download Sentinel and drag it to "Apps" Open Sentinel and drag the "EyeTV" app to the right side "Sign app with: Ad-Hoc" Problem solved 🙂 (more info: https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/macos-15-1-completely-removes-ability-to-launch-unsigned-applications.2441792/)
