Have Geniatech solved the invalid activation key yet, or are Geniatech just money grabbing thieves?

Have Geniatech sorted their EyeTV 4  'Invalid Activation Key' scam, or are they just money grabbing thieves?

 

I've contacted support numerous times (more than a dozen times over the last year or so) with no response from Geniatech, fortunately I still have a trusted old Mac Pro running El Cap and EyeTV 3 (which runs without issue) to rely on.

 

Clearly, Geniatech are nothing more than scammers. They want money for nothing.
