EyeTV 4 crashes immediately on Imac running Tahoe

I just bought a new Imac (after 10 years). My old Imac runs both EyeTV 3 and 4 just fine, Bought the new machine and the software (ported from the old Mac) will not even start. Just crashes immdiately. V3 is not compatible anyway, so I deleted both applications and any .plists from the library. Downloaded new software and it still will not even start, Anyone have any suggestions? I have been using thus system since 2005 in one form or another. would hate to lose it,

Update: Loaded the 3528 version from the web and now it works. BUT...

1. channel list is gone

2. setup assistant can't connect to my set top box, there is no way to make it see the box and control it

3. my script i set up to load the xml tv listings builds the xml fil but the application does not see it, and I am not sure how to point the application to the file!
