Ok. Good comeback. You would have put lots of thought in to that one. Now I can understand why it took 5 days to show up. 😯

However, your argument loses me in the details. Let us see…

    1. You spend good money on a product which satisfies your needs? Check.
    2. Some time later, and out of control of the manufacturer, the environment changes which renders the product obsolete? Check.
    3. You believe the manufacturer has an obligation to rectify the situation to your satisfaction? Check

So please help this dim person to understand which part is "completely false"? Perhaps you could save some time when composing your next reply and just using the standard "witch hunt" / "fake news" defence. That seems to be a favoured tactic amongst those of certain education levels.🤦‍♀️

How about they are still selling tuners + EyeTV4 licenses

  2. Is anyone using an EyeTV T2 Hybrid or an EyeTV T2 Lite on Mac managing to get, or even discover, channels on the com7 or com8 mux ?

Note these are in addition to, and so not including, BBC One HD, BBC Two HD, ITV HD, Channel 4 HD, Channel 5 HD or CBBC HD.  They are the base Freeview HD channels.

But is anyone seeing BBC Four HD,  BBC News HD, Channel 4 7 HD, Channel 4+1 HD or Quest HD.

Freeview is insistent that my transmitter is transmitting them, and I am wondering whether the EyeTV T2 devices are incompatible or if the EyeTV 3 or 4 software is not scanning them.

      Thanks

EyeTV is still old-fashioned 32 bit software. We are still lucky that it is not 16-bit.

Expect them to take at least 2 years before coming out with a 64-bit Beta.

    Why so optimistic?

They've had 11 years since a 64 bit version of Leopard became available.

    And nothing so far.

  4. Sounds great, but I cannot complete step 2b)

When I've filed in my email address, name and password, I always get the message that the account cannot be created because I'm not connected to the internet.

My internet connection is perfectly.  I can be happily streaming video from iCloud at the time or downloading EyeTV from the geniatech support site.

But I still get the message that the account cannot be created because I'm not connected to the internet.

I reported this to GeniaTech 2 days ago and have had no response.
