I had a client with the same problem („stops view (and with it recording) after 29 minutes“).

EyeTV Netstream 4Sat
Eyetv v3.6.9 (7528)
iMac (21.5-inch, Mid 2011)
macOS High Sierra v10.13.6
Router:
Speedport W 724V Typ A
Switch:
Fritz!Box 4020 as IP Client
- set as Mesh Repeater
- set as IP-Client
- connected to network via LAN
Networksharing settings:
-allow access for applications
-allow UPnP
After every 29 Minutes eyetv stopped with live tv and/or recordings.
The „EyeTV_date.wakeups_resource.diag“ says:

eyeTV 3.6.9 stops view (and with it recording) after 29 minutes on both my Mac - not on iPad
