On Thursday (8 February) I noticed for the first time that when I exported a TV programme from Channel 4 (UK) as an MPEG Program Stream the resulting .mpg file was corrupt and had many interruptions in the recording. This doesn't seem to be related to my upgrading the OS to High Sierra 10.13.3, which I had done more than a week previously without affecting export quality.
The file stored in Documents/EyeTV Archive/ was intact, so the export function seems to be at fault rather than the recording function.
Is this a known feature or a bug? Either way, can it be fixed?
