  1. right found a work around. You need to use the invert option. If you invert as soon as you go into the recording, then decrease at both ends then invert again and keep repeating this until you get the desired number of segments, then you you can drag the segments to cut out to the right position. A hassle but a work around if you are desperate and yes it is fiddly. Closing and opening the recording maintains the marked segments. Have nt had a chance to compact and see how it hangs together but that's the next step
  2. I've been EyeTV3 for many years and have had no problems editing recordings, but I seem to missing how to cut out ads in my tv recordings. It used to be as simple as press the enter key and then drag the arrows to the right position. The current interface allows me to top and tail a recording but I can't cut anything out in the middle. Any ideas as to what I am missing? BTW Does anyone know when the export to iTunes or the TV/Movie app will be coming back? Thanks
