I am using an i5 Mini, so 7528 worked okay for me. Yes, unfortunately it is 1 second. But at least there was a small improvement with the reappearing thumbnails.

I am using 8528 and it seems this feature is available again. Without it cutting recordings sucked.

I am using Handbrake on the .eyetv files. It is free and works like a charm.

Kind of same problem here activating Premium EPG Europe, using EyeTV 4.0.0(8526). Looks like the EPG key is 29 chars, unless I am wrong. The entry field allows 28 chars and I get a message user or password wrong when trying to activate EyeTV Premium EPG.
