  1. I still hope that we get an updated version that works in macOS 27. I‘d be willing to pay good money for it.
  2. EyeTV crashes when opening recording preferences Hi! I had an HD crash and had to replace the external drive that contained the EyeTV archive. I gave the new drive the same name that the old one had, but EyeTV created a new one in ~/documents and used that one. So I tried to re-select the correct drive in preferences, but as soon as I click on the "recording" tab in preferences, EyeTV crashes. I haven't done that in a long time, so it might be since upgrading to Sequoia recently. I now solved it by making the folder in documents an Alias to the new drive, but I'm afraid I might have to get access to the preferences sooner or later for whatever reason. So a solution would be nice. A strange thing that struck me: The path shown in the preferences file ~/library/preferences/com.elgato.eyetv.plist is actually the correct path to the external drive, even though EyeTV obviously uses ~/documents.
  3. Thanks for the info! It’s currently one of two apps (the other being Rosetta Stone) that keeps me from moving to Catalina / Big Sur. Unfortunately, I don’t see any viable alternative, either. I considered using EyeTV 3 in a VM, but since it’s supposed to wake the machine for recording, that’s not an option.
  4. I'm considering testing whether EyeTV 4 (on Mac) is usable. Is the library format compatible to EyeTV 3? Can I test it with my existing library and go back to version 3 if I don't like it?
  5. A new release candidate showed up today, and no mention of 64Bit. Really?
  6. Hi! Is it possible to have the audio of a live streaming window play even when I am editing another recorded video in the foreground? Thanks! Timo
  7. Hi! Whenever I create an intelligent EPG to record a series, EyeTV also creates an intelligent playlist. Is there any way to prevent this? Or, as a workaround, is there a way to delete several or all playlists at once? Thanks!
