tlg 0 Report post Posted December 20, 2021 Sorry, this build is broken. At least for macOS 11.6.1 on a Mac mini (M1, 2020), I get "You can’t open the application “EyeTV.app” because this application is not supported on this Mac."
PrinceCreed 3 Report post Posted December 20, 2021 Same for me, iMac M1 2021 on macOS Monterey 12.1: "You can’t open the application “EyeTV.app” because this application is not supported on this Mac."
JasonH 0 Report post Posted December 20, 2021 Geniatech - "You have a new EyeTV update available" Me - "That's great news!" My Mac - "Ha Ha - you are joking aren't you?" 😁 "You can’t open the application “EyeTV.app” because this application is not supported on this Mac" I am running Mac OS 12.1 on a Mac mini (M1) via a USB Hub (3.0) if that helps anyone. Roland B. 14 Report post Posted December 20, 2021 Same for me: neither working on the Mac mini M1 anymore, nor on my Mac Pro 2019. Even worse: I'm still fighting with the downgrade. Used the EyeTV reporter app for removing all remainings of the app, as adviced. After reloading the previous release, it crashes during start up. Already made sure the access privileges are set correctly but no success: Eye TV 4 continues crashing on my Mac Pro 2019 (Intel) AND on my Mac mini M1 2020. Now, I'm trying to go back in versions step by step. Maybe there is something missing that was loaded with a previous version. A «nice» surprise – I already invested hours in order to recover everyting. And maybe no solution so far...

"Downgrade" to eyetv 4.0.0 (8526) worked for me https://www.geniatech.eu/support/eyetv-4-en/

On OS 12.1 now even the 8526 is crashing on both Macs. Most probably there is still code from 8528 somewhere left, that was not removed by EyeTV reporter during deinstallation.
