ballplayer5 6 Report post Posted February 1 Hi, I don't use EyeTV (software) at all anymore. I have EyeTV Netstream 4Sat setup as live TV & DVR in Plex (bought a Plex pass a while ago). Therefore I can use the EPG integrated in Plex which comes in very handy (can record complete series etc.). Since the premium EPG in EyeTV was not working anymore I was looking for a different solution.

PLEX also works with all devices that are supported by DVB API on Linux. I use a EyeTV Hybrid on an Ubuntu Linux machine. works pretty straight out if the box, you only need to add a small firmware driver to the linux default install for the eyetv device, see https://www.linuxtv.org/wiki/index.php/Elgato_EyeTV_hybrid Edited March 7 by Chris299
