Well, the Tuner I read can recive DVB-T2 HD signals not all of the bandwith of DVB-T2 but it can, second It just needs H265 for recieving HD.

Well, now the question: will we ever be able to recieve anythink of DVB-T2 or it is just a new sticker on old package ....without any function....

 

My resume : build 7511 has no h265 Encoder or Decoder yet.

                                       there is no menu entry in the EyeTV assistent for Anntena DVB-T2 signals

                                      thery is not any  hint of supported new hardware product in this release (searched for pic or firmware in dmg) called eyeTV-T2

                                       and I fear my hardware will be useless for DVB-2  but more fear I cannot trust Geniatech for future products

EyeTV T2 Hybrid supports DVB-T/T2/T2 HEVC and DVB-C

EyeTV T2 Lite only supports DVB-T/T2/T2 HEVC, no DVB-C

Another difference is the software license as you said.

Recently, some users reported crash issue on Mac OS 10.6.8 when they use 7513. 

EyeTV 3.6.9(7513) is not compatible with macOS 10.6.8, because HEVC decoder is compiled with libc++, but 10.6.8 does not support libc++.

So you can install 7513 application for Mac OS 10.7 or above, otherwise it must be 7416.

EyeTV 3 doesn't support the new Terratec S7 Rev.4 (new model since 2014). Only the old Terratec S7 (Rev.1 - 3) are supported.

EyeTV Hybrid does support DVB-T2 (MPEG-4/H.264) but DVB-T2 HEVC (DVB-T2 HD) H.265 couldn't be received.

For DVB-T/T2(H.264) we have EyeTV Hybrid now. In the future we also have plan about an "EyeTV Netstream" for DVB-T/T2, its coming soon.

EyeTV Products for US market will come very soon, but we don't manufacture EyeTV HD anymore. For cable TV and satellite we have EyeTV Netstream 4Sat, 4C now(for DVB standard in europe)  and 4A later(for ATSC standard in US).

We don't have a plan about a public beta version, Sorry. But an official version for AppleTV 4 is coming.

The EyeTV application for AppleTV 4 is coming soon. We have already tested the beta version and its going to be released now.

You have switched your TV tuner and now couldn’t select the tv channels in the list?

Also the channels are all grey now?

Mostly, the reason is about different signal standard.

For new device, you need to search tv channels at first.

1^st step:  Please open your THC Software – click the setup button

2^nd step:  select Stations

3rd step:  delete all channels with the trash button on the right corner.

4^th step:  select the correct reception type, for example DVB-T for EyeTV Hybrid/Diversity.

5^th step:  click the "save all" button and then apply the settings.

Now back on the TV screen again and you should be able to watch TV like normally.
