Meow 1 Report post Posted September 7, 2017 To all who do not want to delet all the EyeTV files and reinstall from scratch. I just added <key>max SAT2IP tuners</key> <integer>4</integer> to /user-name/Library/Preferences/com.elgato.eyetv.plist And it works, 4 scheduled recordings within an overlapping period. MacOS Sierra 10.12.6 EyeTV 3.6.9 (7520)
Ralf 0 Report post Posted January 26, 2018 Hi all, another late update to this question. I tried this as well and got the arguments error. Checked the manpage for the defaults command, and that tells me to use the ' character for writing keys instead of ". Hence, the command line has to be: host:~ username$ defaults write com.elgato.eyetv 'max SAT2IP tuners' -int 4 doublechecked with: host:~ username$ defaults read com.elgato.eyetv |grep SAT "max SAT2IP tuners" = 4; "use white list for SAT-IP" = 0; Works perfectly within a second, no re-install required. You just have to close and restart EyeTV. In case you wonder where the " character is (probably) taken from, take a look at the output of the defaults read command ;-) Ralf
OldGoat 17 Report post Posted April 13, 2019 Hi All Folowers, Does anyone have a copy of EyeTV 3.6.3 (7514) I could have? I have an old Mac Mini I'd like to set up as a EyeTV server and I know that 3.6.3 (7514) works with OS X Sierra Ver 10.12. Also looking for a copy of that installer. Cheers 'm Dears

EYEMISSELGATO's link is only for the current software. The previous versions of EyeTV are at https://www.geniatech.eu/faq/eyetv-3-release-history/ and I had a Sierra installer but it wouldn't work but found if you set you computer clock manually to a date prior to High Sierra, it works!! Oh joy, oh joy!
