jelockwood 3 Report post Posted April 21, 2017 There have previously been several legitimate complaints about not being able to use all four tuners on the NetStream 4Sat and similar devices - typically Sat>IP network tuners. I have not seen although I may have missed it a post here in the forums on how to solve this but Geniatech have added a feature to EyeTV which should solve this. See https://www.geniatech.eu/eyetv/faq/how-do-i-receive-4-channels-from-eyetv-netstream-4sat-on-my-mac/

RennefJ 0 Report post Posted October 11, 2017 I cannot get this to work. I have looked at the FAQ entry but the defaults write command does not work for me. I always get defaults[3903:46139632] Unexpected argument tunerrs"; leaving defaults unchanged I am using a Sat>IP tuner but not the Netstream 4 Sat. Sadly Geniatech does not reply to my inquries. I know they say its not supported, but I don't want support for the feature itself I just want to know how to turn it on. Does anybody have this working? Netstream_user 0 Report post Posted December 28, 2019 The correct command in terminal is: defaults write com.elgato.eyetv "max SAT2IP tuners" -int 4 It is important that the " characters are not replaced by similar characters such as “
