  1. Alternatives to eyetv on Mac? I'd hate to move away from EyeTV, but you never know when the devs might pull the plug. Anyone seen a viable alternative? Regards, David
  2. EyeTV unusable I was unable to use EyeTV 4 a couple of weeks ago. It had somehow become corrupted. I contacted support, they asked what was the problem, I replied and never heard from them again, despite several more emails from me. The version of EyeTV was quite old - I had not updated it for a long time. My bad. After much faffing about, including more unanswered emails to support (not impressed) I simply deleted anything on my Mac that appeared to be something to do with EyeTV, downloaded the most recent EyeTV, installed it, and it worked! In future, I'll keep up to date. Is there a way of being notified when a new version arrives? Regards, David
  3. Never mind. All working now. It just needed a bit of time to come to life
  4. I have been without EyeTV 4 for a while, mostly because I couldn't get it to work with Ventura. I finally discovered today that I was using the wrong Diversity stick (don't ask why I have two). Running the Assistant worked fine, and I have all the channels I expected to have. It's been so long since I've set up from scratch I don't know how to do the next step. How do I watch a channel? How to I record a program? Do I need IceTV? Pointers to doco gratefully accepted . . . Best regards, David
  5. Had to reinstall eyeTV 4. All seemed to go OK, but the Program Guide displays no info! Help!! David
  6. Latest version of EyeTV 4 (8528) on MacOS 10.15.7 (Catalina) on a Mac mini Late 2012 About an hour ago, I got "This Channel Is Not Available", for all channels. Nothing in the lan has changed. In fact, as far as I can tell, nothing has changed anywhere (except EyeTV has stopped working). I can view all channels from (Australian) ABC iView in this Mac or my Mac laptop, so the channels are certainly available This arrangement has been working fine for months until now. Help! Best regards, David PS it's 10pm here in Tassie so I might be a little slow in responding to questions (asleep), but I'm an old fart, so I'll be up to check a few times in the night
