  2. I agree with you, alanK. However they contract for the EPG data or socket/pipeline, they cannot/will not pay the supplier. All the last EPG outages have been during the same months: July and August. Perhaps due to fiscal year? I believe that EyeTV is abandonware at this point, though I hope not. Please prove me wrong, Geniatech.
  3. Some people have gotten emails after multiple support requests. I got an email ("from eytev-oldproducts-support") after my second request. It stated that their engineer is working on the problem and will send feedback once they have a solution. I've already received my refund since my subscription was within PayPal refund period (March 2022) so I am not so concerned. This is a worldwide outage of services from Geniatech; North America and Europe EPG services are down. And as I have said elsewhere in the forums, the TitanTV partnership is broken so the remote scheduling can't be used.
  4. Glad things worked out for you. I also had trouble finding what guide meant for this step. In case anyone else has trouble: the required save command is in the channels window, at bottom of page next to "Service".

  6. No. Believe your eyes. I am using XMLTV for my EPG data. I just get over air channels so set up was relatively easy (short channel list). If Premium EPG service ever returns it will show that Geniatech still wants to stay in this field. Then I will buy EyeTV 4 and update my macOS to Monterey. I have an old 24-inch iMac I can keep running EyeTV 3, but I love the 5K retina 27-inch screen of my every day entertainment computer (WoW, Netflix, YouTube and OATV), so I really hope Geniatech fixes things.
  7. Hi David, if you check other recent post on forum, you will see you are not alone. Geniatech has had an outage on their server side since about August 8th. All EPG services are down. Your tuner will still work, though.
  8. I had fun with Terminal.app yesterday! I got XMLTV Listings downloading auto-magicly once per day. Mojave, EyeTV 3, iMac 5k Retina. I used the guide at XMLTV Listings website: https://www.xmltvlistings.com/help/guides/eyetv
  9. Yes, I know this is an old topic but XMLTV Listings has come up during the latest outage at Geniatech. Since Geniatech refunded me my subscription fee they therefore canceled my Premium EPG Service. Now I am trying out XMLTV Listings for over air broadcast and have had a mostly successful experience. XMLTV Listings does not find all my channels unfortunately (one is missing so getting that lineup via ATSC/OpenCable), but that is minor.
  10. No. You must purchase version 4. Version 3 keys will not work.
  11. I initiated a dispute with PayPal yesterday and overnight I received a refund for Premium EPG Service from Geniatech. I really did not want a refund, I wanted the service back. There is no way to purchase or renew the service at Geniatech's website. And TitanTV does not work for me. Onward to XMLTV listings!
  12. Replying to myself! I got a full refund from Geniatech ia PayPal. Not expecting that and so soon. I was really hoping the Geniatech "engineers" would fix the problem. Sigh.
  13. Just now I reported the problem with Geniatech Premium EyeTV Service to PayPal (service "not as described"). Easy to do. Attached image of EyeTV Program Guide Diagnostics failing. Also mentioned that Geniatech is not selling the subscriptions at this time (not even an "Out Of Stock" notice like in the past). There is no description page for the service. I have not asked for refund, yet. Mostly I want a quick resolution and open communication with Geniatech. "Also sent another support request 8/18/2022. Received remote response. First request 8/11/2022 got not response at all. Subscription service is for macOS based DVR software (EyeTV). Paid service from Geniatech is programming lineup database (Premium EPG Service). The download for the programming is failing. Has not worked since August 8, 2022. Company had several weeks outage in July to Aug. 2021 and July to Aug. 2018. I received extensions to the subscriptions in both cases. Perhaps pressure from PayPal will decrease the outage time?"
  14. TitanTV Remote Scheduling not working since Premium EPG outage August 8, 2022. My Premium EPG Service NA subscription expires March 19, 2023. 87106 area code (if that matters), EyeTV 3.6.9(7530), iMac Retina 5K (2017), Mojave (macOS 10.14.x), EyeTV Hybrid, Google Chrome as browser for TitanTV Listings. Getting message that "TitanTV account information is invalid" when trying to download TitanTV Remote Scheduling. Troubleshooting done: I created a new TitanTV account and entered that info into EyeTV preferences. Same error results. I checked my older iMac with even older EyeTV Hybrid and OS and get the same error. Conclusion: Geniatech did not pay their subscription bills!
  15. Can't see that Geniatech is selling the subscription to Premium EPG Service for either NA or Europe, so I do not think we are getting back the TV Guide service. I sent another support request today. I did not get a response to my first one from early last week. Please don't keep kicking a dying (and archaic) horse (Geniatech). Hopefully we can all get our money back and find another service that works. I am looking into devices to attach to TV and record over air TV if I can't figure out XMLTV.

  18. Titan TV no longer working for me. Tried to troubleshoot by creating a new Titan TV account (and logging in at EyeTV preferences), still getting account information is invalid message.

At https://www.geniatech.eu/support/ the only Premium service listed is eyeTV plus. Titan TV no longer working: "The TitanTV account information is invalid. Please verify and correct your account information, then try again." Looks like Genitatech have cut us off.

  21. Hi. Sorry this has happened. I just renewed my EyeTV TV Guide EPG subscription and got email from Geniatech right away. I logged into the account I have with their store to complete the transaction. Have you been able to resolve this with Geniatech?
  22. Yay!!! Are you in North America? Did you have TV Guide as your EPG source? The source has been TV Guide here since the lineup download problems last spring. That is when Geniatech had to switch to TV Guide.

  24. Hi JimBob: I've been wondering why you were trying to get help at <eyetv-plus-support@eu-geniatech.com>. The product we have been discussing here is PremiumEPG NA, not EyeTV Plus (I don't even know what that service is). I am glad PayPal helped you.
  25. Did you clear the old EPG data? Go to Help menu and see options there. What helped me was getting the Line up. All channel EPG source were set to TVGuide and then Program data showed up.
